no lists this time cause i don't actually watch all that much yuri anime? but Revolutionary Girl Utena is the show of all time, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury are very good shows with pretty explicit yuri elements.

i also entirely owe my teenage years to yuri-bait anime like the Love Live! series and Hibike! Euphonium. these two amvs were everything.

i do enjoy academic papers, and i love seeing people smarter than me articulate my thoughts on gender in yuri and yaoi. they're paywalled behind JSTOR though, so if you don't have university access they may be hard to read.
